New 365-day licences for the 12th Edition are now available to order. Go to the EDQM website for information
Issue 12.1 is available only on the new online European Pharmacopoeia platform.
The old European Pharmacopoeia website will be taken offline on 31 December 2025.

Welcome to the EDSForm Website.

First EDSForm texts open for public consultation from October to December 2025.

The EDQM has now launched the first texts of the European Drug Shortage Formulary (EDSForm) for public consultation. All stakeholders are invited to provide their comments on 2 general texts introducing the Formulary and stating its general principles as well as on the first monograph Amoxicillin 125 mg, 250 mg and 500 mg, capsules. The closing date for comments is the end of December 2025.

EDSForm will give users free access to a collection of monographs providing methods for the preparation and quality control of standardised unlicensed pharmaceutical preparations to be used as a temporary replacement for essential but potentially unavailable licensed medicines.
